With over 3-decades of community-based volunteerism, Ms. Perry has always advocated for others. She is a former Girl Scout and Life member of the Disabled American Veterans. Her previous service as a military policewoman includes the U.S. Army, Ohio Army Reserve, Connecticut Army Reserve, and the Virginia National Guard. In 2017, she founded 1st Place Kids Incorporated in Virginia Beach, VA. The charity's purpose is to improve the quality of life for the child through parent education.
